What a great experience at Canadian Mattress! Edward was very professional, knowledgeable, and did not apply any sales pressure! We tried many mattresses and he made sure we completely understood the differences and similarities in brands and price points. In the end we chose a Beautyrest Black mattress and could not be happier! A quality product at a fair price!

The guys at Canadian Mattress were awesome! I had stopped in a few other stores, but didn't feel like any of those sales reps genuinely were interested in finding me the perfect mattress vs. just selling me whatever. Edward asked a bunch of questions about my sleeping habits and got us on a Beautyrest Black that was the best sleep I've ever had. If you're a side sleeper dealing with hip pain, go to Canadian Mattress. I tried everything — memory foam toppers, pillow between the knees — nothing worked until Ed helped me find the right mattress. He explained how different firmness levels affect side sleepers differently and had me try several options. Found a Beautyrest that cradles my hips perfectly. Two months in and my hip pain is basically gone. Wish I'd come here sooner.

Went to Canadian Mattress after trying an Endy mattress we ordered online. The Endy was way too firm and we hated the whole bed-in-a-box experience — you can't try before you buy and returning was a hassle. At Canadian Mattress, we were able to actually lay on different mattresses and feel the difference. Brett helped us understand why the online mattress didn't work for us and what to look for instead. Ended up with a Beautyrest and it's infinitely more comfortable. Lesson learned: don't buy a mattress you haven't tried!

They invented the individually-wrapped pocket coil — the construction style most modern hybrid mattresses still use today. Each coil moves independently, which means motion isolation between partners and targeted support across your body. It's the original technology, refined for almost 100 years.
What makes our Beautyrest lineup different.
We stock the World Class, Centennial Collection, and Canada Dreams lines. These pair Beautyrest's signature pocket-coil core with cooling covers, gel-infused foams, and pillow-top constructions. We don't carry the Black Series tier — that's typically stocked at chains like Sleep Country and The Brick where it carries a premium price. Our World Class and Centennial Collection lines use the same pocket-coil construction with similar comfort layers at a sharper price. Most customers don't see a meaningful difference in feel; the difference is in the marketing tier and the markup.
Different, not better. Beautyrest uses pocket-coil construction (individually wrapped springs for responsive support with airflow). Tempur-Pedic uses viscoelastic TEMPUR material (contours to your body with less bounce). Back sleepers and hot sleepers often prefer Beautyrest. Side sleepers with pressure-point issues often prefer Tempur-Pedic. The comfort test in-store makes the answer obvious in about 10 minutes.

Most flat platform frames work fine. Beautyrest needs a solid surface or slats spaced no more than three inches apart. We'll check yours before delivery. If you're upgrading anyway, we have premium adjustable bases set up on the floor with a Beautyrest on top.
