We bought a Marshall mattress and adjustable base at the Calgary renovation home show today from Canadian Mattress. Shawn helped explain the different types of mattresses and had us check out a few ourselves. The Marshall mattresses was supremely comfortable but also offered amazing support and the discount buying it directly through the show definitely helped our budget. We so appreciated the knowledge of the staff and the time that they spent with us very clearly explaining all of the varieties of mattresses and which ones would suit our needs the best. I highly recommend Canadian Mattress and specifically the Marshall mattress and adjustable base. Go talk to Shawn! He knows his stuff!!

While at the Cgy Home Show we looked at a new bed. We came across Canadian Mattress and were greeted by Shaun, Laura, and Peter. We really enjoyed them sharing the knowledge of their product and were not pushy! We ended up buying a Marshall Mattress and an adjustable base.

We were in the market for a king bed and mattress and walked into the Edmonton showroom and met Edward. He was very patient and knowledgeable about all of the mattresses and styles of beds. He wasn't pushy and walked us through many mattresses to try until we found the right one for us. We ended up purchasing a Serta mattress and are very pleased with it. We would recommend this store for a great mattress buying experience.

Ed didn't try to steer me to the most expensive option — he actually said the mid-range Sealy was the best fit for what I described. That kind of honesty is rare in retail. Seven brands: Tempur-Pedic, Beautyrest, Stearns & Foster, Marshall Mattress, Aireloom, Sealy, and Serta. All seven are set up on the showroom floor with current models so you can try the lineup in person.
That's what the 15-minute comfort test is for. We ask about your sleep position, pressure points, partner preferences, and your current mattress. Then we narrow seven brands down to three or four mattresses matched to your body. You feel the difference, then you choose. No commission, no rush.
Same brands, often more models. We typically carry the full lineup from each manufacturer instead of just the highest-volume models. On Tempur-Pedic alone, we have all four PROAlign 2.0 firmnesses on display. Most chains have one or two.
Marshall was founded in Ontario in 1900 and invented the pocket coil — the design most premium mattresses still build on today. The brand is now owned by Aireloom and the mattresses are hand-built in California using the same construction. Solitaire and Maestro lines are on our floor: quieter springs, classic feel, built to last.
Aireloom is the premium tier on our floor (typically $4,000+ for queen). It's hand-stitched in California and used in some of the world's most expensive hotels. Worth it if you've slept on one and want that experience at home. Worth less if you haven't tried it. We have it set up so you can find out which group you're in.
